Capital Fringe Festival has posted its schedule a few weeks early to give Fringe fans the chance to make plans and take advantage of money saving offers.
This year, Capital Fringe runs from July 6 – 30, three weeks for all shows plus an invitation-only extension week.

This will be the smallest Fringe festival in years, with 86 theatrical shows and three music performances. That’s down from the more usual 110+ scheduled productions. While ticket buyers will have fewer shows to choose from, they won’t have to cover as much ground to catch those shows. Most of the venues are concentrated in the Atlas/Capital Fringe area of H Street.
Prices remain unchanged from last year. A single ticket is $17, with apparently one exception. Fringe’s discounted packages range from the 4 Show Pass (savings: $2 per ticket) to 50 Show Pass (savings: $10 per ticket). The Passes are flexible: they can be used to see individual shows, or to bring a group for a single show. The Fringe button, required for admission to all shows, is $5, purchased by July 6, or $7 thereafter.
Both the Passes and the Fringe buttons are available for purchase now. Single tickets go on sale June 19th.
