Glory Days, the coming-of-age musical which got its start at Signature Theatre, is about to be rocked Japanese-style, when the show opens June 9th in Tokyo. Composers James Gardiner and Nick Blaemire will fly to Japan to catch opening night of the musical’s first international production.
In an exclusive interview in today’s Theatre Schmooze, James Gardiner told DCTS that the show stars Attack All Around, a famous Japanese band with Takahiro Nishijima, Kanata Irei, Shinki Rachi and Kohei in the leads. The musical will be sung entirely in Japanese, translated by Ako Takahashi. Check out the Tokyo site.

Very cool. Congrats to the Nick and James! I hope there will be video clips posted somewhere.
