It’s that time of year again! That most glorious time each summer when for one magical week the Capital Fringe festival is extended. It’s a great chance to see the hit Fringe shows you missed or revisit ones you loved. For us, however, the most exciting prospect of Extension Week is resurgence of our favorite game of all: Fringe Extension BINGO.
Fringe Extension BINGO is, of course, an annual game we play each Fringe, where each participant treks across this lovely festival, collecting BINGO points for each of the classic Fringe experiences you encounter. We took the liberty of typing up our BINGO boards this year so that now you can join in!
[For all you editor-wannabes, Zack and David’s twists on American English are covered under the Creative Spelling Law.]
You’ll notice each space contains one of the many common, average, run of the mill Fringe experiences we’ve all come to love.
Being the Fringe BINGO aficionados we are, we knew some of you others out there would desire a more challenging board. So here it is! Peppered with deep-cut references to the finest shows of Fringe Extentiontude! Only the most seasoned and dedicated BINGOlogists can triumph over this Fringetacular grid!
(Disclaimer: It was kind or difficult to think of another 25 things to put on this chart, but we did our best. There’s definitely some stretching for ideas in there, but I think we covered it nicely. It’s pretty seamless.)
And then we pushed it a little too far and went for a third board, which I’ll be honest, is a little rough.
We hope you all enjoy playing our BINGO games as much as we did making them!
Happy Extention!
